By combining a variety of qualities generally assigned as human, flora or fauna, my exploration intuitively begins. Themes of connection and interconnection along with the life cycles of birth, living, death and rebirth serve as primary sources of inspiration. With a unique interpretation of this material, form by form, I celebrate the mystery of the universe, the wisdom of nature and the humble role humankind plays within it all. My creative journey is rooted in how it might feel and what it might look like to be a fully integrated part of the universe rather then to perceive self or humankind as at the center of it or separate from it.

Upon observing one of my forms, you receive a momentary glimpse into the life of a figure caught in the act of shifting from one attitude, pattern or discovery into the next. With an intense respect for all of life, these forms remind me of what it means to be deeply human and at one with all that surrounds me. At its core, this body of work is an expression of my never-ending transitions and transformations as a spiritual being moving through life in a human vessel. In doing so, I find myself eagerly and at times even fearlessly searching for deeper levels of meaningful experience and connection.
